Papa Johns Pizza

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at the Papa John's location on 2201 N Story Rd in Irving, TX. I placed my order through the Papa John's app, and it took over two hours for my order to arrive. A delay of that length is unacceptable, especially when there was no communication about what was causing it. To make matters worse, I repeatedly called the store to get an update on my app order, but no one ever answered the phone. If delays are unavoidable, customers should at least be able to reach someone or receive an update on their order status. I understand that busy periods happen, but poor communication and a lack of customer service only made the experience more frustrating. Because of this experience, I will be submitting a formal complaint to Papa John's corporate in hopes that this location improves its customer service, communication, and overall reliability.

I ordered a pizza on line, and it confirmed it with an email, and that door dash will be delivering. Pizza was never delivered. I called store and no one ever picked up. Called door dash delivery person went to corporate office. I called the "new order" line and the person stated he couldn't help me. 2 hours later the papa john app is still telling me pizza is waiting to be delivered.

I am submitting this complaint because my recent experience with Papa Johns was completely unacceptable. My order was delayed for an excessive amount of time, far beyond the promised delivery window, with little to no communication regarding the delay. I repeatedly checked for updates and received no meaningful information about what was causing the issue. What is most concerning is that this does not appear to be a minor delay but a serious breakdown in customer service and order management. Customers should not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for an order while being left in the dark. If staffing, management, or operational issues at this location are causing these delays, corporate leadership should investigate immediately. I chose Papa Johns expecting reliable service and was left frustrated, inconvenienced, and disappointed. I am requesting that corporate review the performance of this store, investigate why orders are being delayed to this extent, and take corrective action to prevent other customers from experiencing the same poor service. This experience has significantly damaged my confidence in the brand.

Placed an order 2 weeks ago, food was good, best part was I called and looking for a receipt and Blake Taylor at the store was incredibly helpful even though I could not visit the store again for some time. He took the time to find it for me and send it to me. Thanks and Blake much appreciated! (Blake's Boss....Blake needs a pat on the back!)
